KSAs are listed on each position's job description and serve as a guide for applicants, employees, and departments to evaluate and assess a person's likelihood for success in a job.
The test was originally called the Scholastic Aptitude Test and later became the Scholastic Assessment Test. The acronym SAT no longer stands for anything but is the actual name of the test.
​In 2019, the average SAT score was 1050. Any score above that would be above average and perfectly acceptable for many colleges. A score of 1350 would put you in the top 10% of test takers and help make your application competitive at more selective schools. (college board.org)
